You went without saying goodbye.
So i'm sorry I never got to say things to you that I wished I had.
I'm sorry i shouted at you for getting angry.
I promise I will double lock the door,
and not ash in your tea mugs.
I will feed the fish everyday, and maybe clean them out every so often.
I'm sorry I switched our mattresses when we moved in,
so you slept in pain for weeks at the start.
I'm sorry if you ever felt I wasn't there for you
and if I pushed you away.
I wish you'd told me how you were feeling
and then maybe one of us could have helped you.
I took for granted everything you did and have done
Because I loved you even if I didn't show it.
